DEEP - Driver Education and Enlightenment Program is devoted to bringing Road and Traffic Awareness to all road users, particular attention is paid to educating the children in using the roads in developing countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and most parts of Asia. The number of people killed in India in 2018 was over 150,000 with an estimated 450,000 accidents. That translates to over 50 accidents per hour. DEEP was started in 2013.
EARSA - Engineers Assocation for Road Safety Awareness - It is a group started in the Shri Vishu Engineering College for Women to educate students and in turn they educate the local community and schools with regard to Road and Traffic Awareness. The group was started in 2021.
SVYM of NA - Swami Vivekanada Youth Movement of North America is assocated with the parent SVYM located in Sargur, H.D.Kote, Mysore District, India. The goal of SVYM is to empower women and provide education for children, particularly the tribal children population surrounding Sargur. Also, to provide basic medical assistance through Viveka Memorial Hospital, it is a 90 bed hospital built for the local community. SVYM was started in 1984.
