I want to share with you my current work with Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement of North America (SVYM of NA), Driver Education and Enlightenment Program (DEEP) and Engineers Association for Road Safety Awareness (EARSA).
When I joined SVYM the parent non-profit organization (located in Sargur, H. D. Kote, Mysore District, India) started in 1984 the objective was to assist women and children. The women to be empowered and the children to have education.
The DEEP was started in 2013 to educate people with regard to road and traffic safety, especially teaching school children.
In order to expand the knowledge and experience of DEEP; I approached other sources such as Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (SVECW), where with the help of Dr. Pala Gireesh Kumar, HOD Civil Engineering Department, Bhimavaram, Anadra Pradesh started EARSA in 2021.
